Updated on January 4, 2026

When it comes to improving your game, most golfers focus on the clubhead or the face.

But what if the key to better performance is hiding in plain sight? Your iron shafts play a critical role in launch, ball speed, shot consistency, and even how your swing feels. Yet, they’re often overlooked in favor of flashier components.

The truth is, choosing the right shaft can completely transform your game. Whether you’re chasing more distance, tighter shot dispersion, or a smoother swing, the right shaft makes all the difference. That’s why we’ve tested and ranked the seven best golf shafts for irons, tailoring our picks to every type of golfer—whether you have a slow, moderate, or fast swing speed, or need specialized options for women or juniors.

This guide reveals what makes these shafts stand out, helping you select the one that delivers the consistency and control you’ve been searching for. We’ll cover recommendations for all different golfers, from those with moderate swing speeds to juniors to people with low handicaps.

7 Best Golf Shafts for Irons

UST Mamiya Recoil 460 ESX – Best for Moderate Swing Speed

Best for Moderate Swing Speeds

UST Mamiya Recoil 460 ESX Iron Shaft Set

Pros

  • Promotes rapid ball speed
  • Greater spring in the walls of the shaft
  • Suits average swing speeds
  • Promotes high ball flight
  • Encourages optimal carry distance

Cons

  • Expensive
  • It doesn’t suit faster swing speeds

The UST Mamiya Recoil are ideal graphite shafts for amateur golfers with a moderate swing speed, ranging from 80 to 95 mph. Engineers constructed the 460 ESX shaft with regular flex to boost energy transfer at impact.

I found that Recoil Technology is the star feature of the shaft because it encouraged increased spring in the walls of the shaft. This boosted the energy transfer from the clubface to the golf ball at contact, prompting accelerated ball speed for maximum distance.

You’ll find that the rapid velocity and controlled spin prompts a moderate to high launch for consistent carry distance with your iron golf clubs. Finally, UST Mamiya suggests that the 460 ESX contains 4.7 degrees of torque, leading to increased flex during your swing, which can produce erratic results.

Fujikura Pro Series 95i – Best Graphite Iron Shafts

Best Graphite Shafts

Fujikura New PRO Series 95i Graphite Iron Shafts

Pros

  • Soft feel
  • Light construction encourages accelerated clubhead speed
  • Customizable for a hard or soft step procedure
  • Affordable per unit for graphite shafts
  • Built for moderate to fast swing speed

Cons

  • The shafts do not suit slower swing speeds
  • They are still more expensive than steel shafts

The Fujikura Pro Series 95i is my top pick for the best graphite iron shafts, thanks to the selection of flex profiles, durability, and glare-resistant finish. Fujikura offers the Pro Series 95i in three flex options, regular, stiff, and extra stiff, making them ideal for moderate to fast swing speeds.

Besides the flex options, these shafts are built to deliver medium spin and launch. As a result, they deliver controlled ball flight on approach.

Furthermore, the engineers created them to allow for a hard or soft step. For example, a hard step represents placing a 7-iron iron shaft in a 6-iron head. Conversely, a soft step requires setting a 6-iron shaft in a 7-iron clubhead.

The use of High-Density Composite Core (HDCC) enhances the shaft’s durability, and it lightens the mass to promote rapid club speed. When you combine a rampant clubhead with a medium launch, you produce a controlled shot with optimal distance and spin.

Lastly, the HDCC material works wonders for feedback, as it eliminates unwanted vibrations that run up the shaft on off-center strikes. Therefore, it protects your hands for a smooth, pleasant feel.

KBS TGI Tour – Best for Seniors

Best for Seniors

KBS TGI Tour 60 Graphite Iron Senior Flex Golf Shaft

Pros

  • Mid to high launch
  • Encourages increased club head speed
  • Produces consistent distance
  • Specifically constructed for seniors
  • Moderately priced

Cons

  • Expensive
  • It’s too flexible for moderate swing speeds

The KBS TGI Tour shafts with a senior flex profile are graphite constructions designed to give older players greater control on the golf course. The engineers worked to reduce spin and launch for greater distance in your mid and long irons.

I noticed that the 60-gram construction was light enough to boost club head speed, and the mid to low kick point delivered ample height on my shots. In addition, the similarity in play to a steel iron shaft provides superior control compared to other graphite designs.

Furthermore, you’ll find that the KBS TGI Tour features a mid to low kick point, which prompts ample height for improved distance consistency. Lastly, only golfers with a 6-iron swing speed should think about these shafts.

True Temper Dynamic Gold AMT S300 – Best for Fast Swing Speeds

Best for Fast Swing Speeds

True Temper Dynamic Gold AMT Iron Shaft Set S300

Pros

  • Promotes a low trajectory
  • Lowers spin
  • Boosts ball speed
  • Suits faster swingers with a moderate tempo
  • Affordable

Cons

  • The stiff flex may cause some players to produce low trajectory
  • The increased mass may slow your swing speed down

Amateurs who swing a 6-iron between 84 and 91 mph are considered faster swingers and are best fitted to stiff shafts. The True Temper New Dynamic Gold S300 are steel shafts that offer limited flex and high kick point for a low launch.

The reduced flex of the shaft enhances the stability of the clubhead into impact, ensuring low spin to send your ball along a piercing trajectory. You’ll find that this encourages optimal roll once your golf ball touches down.

Finally, True Temper suggests that the Dynamic Gold AMT S300 works for experienced players with a moderate tempo.

True Temper Project X Rifle 6.0 .355 – Best For Low Handicappers and Professionals

Best for Low Handicappers

True Temper Project X Flighted Steel Tapered

Pros

  • Moderately affordable
  • Penetrating ball flight
  • Limited flex at impact
  • Increased roll
  • Low spin

Cons

  • The low launch can lead to inconsistent results for slower swingers
  • The heavier design causes you to lose clubhead speed

Low handicappers and professionals with faster swing speed will appreciate the extra stiff construction of the True Temper Project X Rifle 6.0 .355 shaft. True Temper built these for the players who generate over 92 mph of clubhead speed with a 6-iron.

The Stepless Design Technology (SDT) was my highlight because it ensured optimal energy transfer at contact. I found this produced rampant velocity and optimal length. In addition, I found that the technology prompted a solid feel when the clubface struck the golf ball.

Furthermore, you’ll see that shots with these high kick point iron shafts encourage a flat, penetrating ball flight for improved control and increased roll. Lastly, these shafts control spin for optimal flight, length, and roll.

Mitsubishi MMT 50 – Best Golf Shaft For Ladies

Best Ladies Shafts

Mitsubishi MMT 50 Iron Golf Shaft

Pros

  • Lightweight and easy to swing
  • Prompts a mid to high launch
  • Offers an improved feel
  • Amplifies acoustics
  • Optimal spring into impact for accelerated ball speed

Cons

  • Expensive compared to steel shafts
  • The lighter design can cause some players to balloon shots

The Mitsubishi MMT 50 is our top ladies shaft flex which offers a lightweight construction that encourages rapid swing speed and consistent results. You’ll find that Mitsubishi developed this shaft for those players who swing a 6-iron below 65 mph.

I noticed that the MMT 50 was crafted using metal mesh material. In addition, the engineers took it a step further to include Metal Mesh Technology. The technology elevates the density and stability despite the shaft possessing 5.9-degrees of torque, which leads to increased twisting during your swing.

Furthermore, I enjoyed a mid-to-high launch, brought about by the mid-to-low kick point. This made it easy to launch my shots and ensure ample carry distance. Overall, it is a suitable iron shaft for slower swing speeds.

KBS 560 – Best for Juniors

Best Junior Shafts

KBS 560 Junior Steel Iron Golf Shaft

Pros

  • They help juniors transition to adult clubs
  • Delivers a controlled launch
  • Prompts accelerated ball velocity
  • Encourages maximum distance
  • They work with adult clubheads

Cons

  • The stiffness of the shaft may prove excessive for some juniors to launch
  • The low launch may lead slower swinging juniors to lose carry distance

We have covered every type of golfer except for the little guys and girls. The KBS 500 is ideal for your youngster to produce consistent distance and accuracy with the irons. These shafts are specially constructed for youngsters in the development phase of their golf careers.

The engineers developed the KBS 560 with two flex options, including regular-stiff and regular, to cater to all junior swing types. You’ll notice that these shafts are moderately heavier than standard junior shafts, as they are built to operate with adult clubheads.

In addition, the increased mass trains youngsters to swing an adult club. Plus, the KBS 560 golf shaft encourages controlled flight to prevent ballooning shots and losing yards. Finally, these models promote rapid ball speed for optimal yardage.

What to Look for in an Iron Shaft

Material

Modern golf shafts are constructed from two predominant materials: steel and graphite composite. Steel shafts typically contain extra weight compared to graphite, and you’ll notice that they are more affordable.

Graphite is the go-to material for hybrids, fairway woods, and driver shafts because they prevent additional unnecessary mass. The lighter construction of graphite shafts promotes accelerated swing speed for a powerful strike.

You’ll find that slower swing speed golfers and I enjoy graphite irons shafts because they make it easy to frequently launch your golf ball.

Flex

The flex of your iron shafts impacts their spring leading into impact. A ladies’ flex is the least stiff option and provides maximum whip into the ball at contact. You’ll notice this provides consistent ball speed and a high launch. These shafts work for golfers who swing a 6-iron below 65 mph.

You’ll see that the next flexible option is a seniors flex, built for older golfers and slow-swinging high handicappers. However, most amateurs will fit into the moderate speed bracket and perform best with a regular flex shaft.

Finally, lower handicappers and tour professionals typically register fast and super fast speeds, setting them up for success with a stiff or extra stiff shaft. I have provided a table below highlighting which shaft flex is right for your swing.

Finally, lower handicappers and tour professionals typically register fast and super fast speeds, setting them up for success with a stiff or extra stiff shaft. I have provided a table below to highlight which shaft flex is right for your swing.

Shaft Flex vs Swing Speed

Tour Professional Low Handicapper Mid Handicappers Senior/ High Handicappers Ladies
Swing Speed
(6-iron)
>92 mph 84 – 91 mph 75 – 83 mph 65 – 75 mph <65 mph
Shaft Flex X Stiff Stiff Regular Senior Ladies

Weight

The more grams your shaft contains, the harder it becomes to optimize your clubhead speed on the downswing. However, additional mass can prompt some players to activate the necessary muscles to boost power as you transition from the top of your swing to impact.

Powerful golfers with faster swing speeds find that heavy golf shafts enhance stability to deliver a controlled launch. Conversely, slower golf swingers may struggle to transfer sufficient energy to the ball at impact, generating weak launch with minimal distance.

You’ll find that most heavy shafts carry stiff or extra stiff flex, making it ideal for higher swing speeds. On the contrary, lightweight shafts generally offer increased flex to aid slow-swinging players.

Torque

The degree of torque your shafts carry influences the rate of twist during your swing. Therefore, it has the greatest bearing on your shot dispersion. Shafts with a lower torque degree twist less and help golfers to keep their clubface square at contact. Contrarily, a high degree of torque prompts the clubface open at impact, which can produce a slice.

In tests conducted by the TPT Golf, they found that shots with higher torque shafts finished right of the target on most occasions for right-handers. Conversely, lower torque iron shafts delivered a dispersion to the left of the target.

As a result, you should think about a lower torque shaft if your ball finishes right of your target more often than not.

Kick Point

The final factor to consider is the kick point of a shaft which impacts the elevation of your launch. A shaft offers one of three kick points to promote the optimal launch, flight, and carry distance.

The type of kick point your shaft possesses depends on the area that contorts the heaviest during your swing. A high kick point is present near the grip and produces a low launching shot, welcomed by higher swing speeds.

A mid-kick point appears in the middle of the shaft and is built to propel a neutral launch which suits average swing speeds. Lastly, a low kick point features near the club head and bends hard into impact, generating a towering launch for slower swing speeds.

If you are concerned that you are launching the ball too low, try shafts with a lower kick point. Conversely, players afraid of ballooning shots should consider a high to mid-design.

Interest Builds Around TPT Pulse Putter Shafts Following Launch https://ultragolfing.com/interest-builds-around-tpt-pulse-putter-shafts-following-launch/ https://ultragolfing.com/interest-builds-around-tpt-pulse-putter-shafts-following-launch/#respond Thu, 26 Feb 2026 08:24:03 +0000 https://ultragolfing.com/interest-builds-around-tpt-pulse-putter-shafts-following-launch/

Renens, Switzerland – Following the launch of its new Pulse putter shaft platform, TPT Golf is seeing growing interest around a product that brings the brand’s performance-led engineering philosophy to the greens.

Pulse marks TPT’s first dedicated putter shaft family and represents the evolution of technology that has already proven itself at the highest level of the game. Until now, variations of this construction had only been available through limited, bespoke LAB putter builds on Tour. Pulse takes the same principles and applies them to a standalone shaft platform designed for use with traditional putter heads and standard hosel configurations.

Built using the same Thin Ply Technology that transformed TPT’s wood shaft category, Pulse has been engineered with a breakthrough four-ply construction to deliver ultra-low torque and exceptional consistency. This design allows the shaft to remain stable through impact, promoting consistent face control and reliable roll on every putt.

Central to the Pulse concept is the separation of feel from performance. All three Pulse models deliver identical performance characteristics, including sub-1° torque and uncompromising stability, with differences between models determined purely by flex profile and feedback. This allows players and fitters to tune feel and tempo without altering roll characteristics or consistency.

Each Pulse shaft is manufactured using TPT’s fully automated, no-human-error production process. By removing manual layup variability, every shaft delivers the same precision, uniformity and repeatability ensuring that performance remains constant from shaft to shaft.

In keeping with TPT’s design philosophy, Pulse features no cosmetic paint or unnecessary layers. By eliminating excess material, the shaft preserves its exact balance, responsiveness and feedback, delivering what TPT defines as raw performance, engineered function without distraction.

The technology underpinning Pulse has already been validated through extensive Tour use in custom putter builds, where consistency and stability under pressure are paramount. By making this platform widely available, TPT extends Tour-level precision beyond bespoke applications and into modern fitting environments.

“Performance drives everything we do, and putting is no exception,” said a TPT spokesperson. “Pulse was developed to deliver absolute consistency while allowing feel to be matched to the player. By keeping performance identical across the range, we’ve removed compromise and given fitters and players a more reliable framework, one that’s already proven itself at the highest level.”

Pulse shafts are offered in a standard 0.370″ tip configuration and are designed to integrate seamlessly with traditional putter heads.

Pulse is now available for further technical evaluation, with shafts, supporting data and engineering insight available on request.

KINETIXX introduces golf’s first shafts engineered with a fully homogeneous deployment of Kevlar® technology https://ultragolfing.com/kinetixx-introduces-golfs-first-shafts-engineered-with-a-fully-homogeneous-deployment-of-kevlar-technology/ https://ultragolfing.com/kinetixx-introduces-golfs-first-shafts-engineered-with-a-fully-homogeneous-deployment-of-kevlar-technology/#respond Wed, 18 Feb 2026 16:20:04 +0000 https://ultragolfing.com/kinetixx-introduces-golfs-first-shafts-engineered-with-a-fully-homogeneous-deployment-of-kevlar-technology/

This exclusive, generational technology will be present in the new SyrgeX and FlexurX lines

San Clemente, CA – KINETIXX Golf today announced the launch of SyrgeX and FlexurX, two next-generation wood shaft platforms built around Kevlar® EXO™, the most significant advancement in aramid fiber technology in more than 50 years. KINETIXX is the only golf shaft manufacturer with exclusive access to Kevlar® EXO™, pairing this breakthrough material with its utility-patented hybrid construction to deliver unprecedented strength, consistency, energy transfer, and feel. Beyond exclusive access, KINETIXX uniquely owns and controls the design, production, and commercialization of the proprietary unidirectional prepreg architectures used in these shafts, manufacturing the material itself rather than sourcing it externally. This vertically integrated capability allows KINETIXX to engineer performance at the material, fiber, and structural levels simultaneously, a feat no other golf shaft manufacturer can replicate.

“This launch represents far more than two new shafts,” said Jason Horodezky, CEO of KINETIXX. “We own the material science, the prepreg architecture, and the manufacturing process end to end. Because we actually produce the commercially viable unidirectional prepreg in-house, we can build performance into the shaft at a molecular level. There is no shortcut to that capability — and no other company in golf can make shafts like these.”

Kevlar® EXO™ is a copolymer aramid fiber engineered for extreme performance. It has been in development for 15 years and has expanded to other key applications such as crash-resistant fuel bladders for Formula One; protecting satellites, deployable structures, and spacecraft in space from orbital debris; and now looks to the sports world with best-in-class golf shafts. KINETIXX’s proprietary prepreg forms of Kevlar® EXO™ are not single-purpose solutions, but a scalable materials platform that will be deployed across future applications both within and beyond sporting goods, including advanced industrial systems and next-generation medical devices requiring controlled flexibility, fatigue resistance, and long-term structural reliability.

Compared to standard Kevlar®, it is approximately 30% stronger, 30% lighter, and 30% more flexible. That added ductility allows the material to absorb impact energy rather than fracture, which is essential in high-speed golf applications where carbon fiber alone can be brittle. By combining Kevlar® EXO™ (tension and impact absorption) with high-modulus carbon fiber (compression and stiffness), KINETIXX achieves a composite system that stores, controls, and releases energy more efficiently than any existing conventional shaft design. Because KINETIXX engineers and manufactures the prepreg material itself, these composite systems cannot be reverse-engineered or duplicated using conventional table-rolled or third-party-supplied materials.

“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with KINETIXX on a project that brings together two innovation‑driven brands,” said Scott Janco, Kevlar® EXO™ Application Development. “By combining KINETIXX’s cutting‑edge approach to golf performance with the breakthrough power of Kevlar® EXO™, we’re setting the stage for technology that can truly change the game.”

SyrgeX: Filament-Wound Precision, Vacuum-Cured Consistency

SyrgeX represents the most advanced execution of KINETIXX’s utility-patented hybrid construction. A 30T (0°) and 40T (45°) high-modulus carbon fiber core is paired with a homogeneous, circumferential filament-wound Kevlar® EXO™ exoskeleton, all vacuum-cured into a low-void, ultra-dense composite. The Kevlar® EXO™ filament and prepreg materials used in SyrgeX are produced exclusively by KINETIXX, enabling fiber placement, tension control, and material consistency unavailable to manufacturers relying on outsourced composite supply chains.

This architecture solves the long-standing trade-off between bending stiffness and torsional stability. The 0° fibers deliver elite linear strength and a stable kick profile, while the 45° fibers and Kevlar® EXO™ hoop layer dramatically resist twisting and ovaling under load. The result is a shaft that stays round, stays square, and recovers faster, even on high-speed or off-center strikes.

Key performance outcomes include:

  • Pure kinetic energy transfer from reduced resin content and higher fiber volume.
  • Spineless, concentric construction for ultra-tight dispersion.
  • Reduced vibration and enhanced feel, as the Kevlar® EXO™ exoskeleton filters harsh, high-frequency impact shock.
  • Exceptional durability and impact resistance without added weight.

SyrgeX is available for both drivers and fairway woods. This line is engineered for mid-to-high swing-speed players seeking bulletproof distance with bulletproof precision, delivering a high, stable kick point, low torque, and lower-mid launch/spin characteristics.

FlexurX: The Most Advanced Table-Rolled Shaft Ever Developed

FlexurX applies Kevlar® EXO™ innovation to a vacuum-cured, table-rolled platform, creating a shaft that redefines what is possible in traditional flag-wrapped construction. A 30T/40T high-modulus carbon fiber core is reinforced with a proprietary ultra-thin Kevlar® EXO™ unidirectional outer ply at 45°, precisely oriented for stability, loading, and recovery. This unidirectional Kevlar® EXO™ prepreg is wholly engineered and manufactured by KINETIXX, allowing exact control over fiber orientation, resin content, and ply thickness at a level not achievable through third-party materials.

This Kevlar® EXO™ exoskeleton acts as a structural safeguard, preventing deformation and ovaling during aggressive swings while adding elongation and vibration dampening that carbon fiber alone cannot provide. Vacuum curing eliminates irregularities like resin pockets, ensuring every FlexurX shaft is lighter, more consistent, and performs exactly as designed.

Performance benefits include:

  • Higher ball speed through efficient energy transfer.
  • Tighter dispersion and greater forgiveness on off-center hits.
  • Smooth, solid feel with filtered vibration despite high stiffness.
  • Broad playability across a wide range of clubhead speeds.

FlexurX is available for both drivers and fairway woods. This line is engineered for golfers who demand maximum stability, forgiveness, and efficiency without sacrificing feel — particularly players with moderate to fast swing speeds who want confidence on aggressive swings and protection on imperfect strikes. Designed for those who value tight dispersion, consistent ball speed, and smooth feedback, FlexurX is ideal for competitive amateurs, serious club golfers, and fit-focused players seeking reliability, playability, and tour-level consistency.

“Because we design and produce the prepreg material ourselves, FlexurX isn’t constrained by traditional manufacturing limits,” said Horodezky. “We can tune elongation, stability, and feel with a level of precision that simply doesn’t exist elsewhere in the market. These shafts aren’t iterations of what’s come before; they’re the result of a materials platform that will ultimately extend well beyond golf.”

Both SyrgeX and FlexurX are built on KINETIXX’s philosophy of material-first engineering: aligning fibers along calculated load paths, optimizing fiber angles and wall thickness by flex, and vacuum curing to achieve unmatched structural integrity. Unlike centerless-ground shafts, KINETIXX shafts are produced as true net parts, preserving concentricity and consistency from raw material to finished product.

With exclusive access to Kevlar® EXO™ and a proprietary hybrid construction process, KINETIXX has created not just new shafts, but a new performance category — one that combines strength, flexibility, durability, and feel in ways previously thought incompatible. These are shafts that cannot be copied, licensed, or reverse-engineered because no one else controls the material itself.

SyrgeX and FlexurX are now setting the standard for what a modern golf shaft can be: stronger, smarter, and engineered to protect and elevate every swing.

NEWTON GOLF Will Debut New Shafts at the 2026 PGA Show Following a Standout Year in 2025 https://ultragolfing.com/newton-golf-will-debut-new-shafts-at-the-2026-pga-show-following-a-standout-year-in-2025/ https://ultragolfing.com/newton-golf-will-debut-new-shafts-at-the-2026-pga-show-following-a-standout-year-in-2025/#respond Sun, 01 Feb 2026 07:36:40 +0000 https://ultragolfing.com/newton-golf-will-debut-new-shafts-at-the-2026-pga-show-following-a-standout-year-in-2025/
  • Newton Golf will introduce: New Fast Motion™ fairway and hybrid shafts; New Motion hybrid shafts; and refined driver and fairway models across both families.

  • ”Match the Dots,” Newton Golf’s simplified fitting system, matches the dot specification from driver through hybrid

CAMARILLO, CA – Newton Golf Company (NASDAQ: NWTG) (“Newton Golf” or the “Company”), a technology-forward golf equipment innovator applying physics-driven engineering to golf performance, announces its participation in the 2026 PGA Show, taking place January 20-23 in Orlando, Florida.

The Company will debut new Newton Fast Motion™ fairway wood shafts, introduce dedicated hybrid shafts across all product offerings for the first time, and present refined 2026 versions of its existing Fast Motion driver and Motion™ driver and fairway shafts. This expanded product lineup follows a strong 2025 performance for Newton Golf’s shaft business, highlighted by achieving the No. 1 selling shaft position for both drivers and fairway woods at Club Champion, one of the world’s largest professional club-fitting retailers.

For 2026, Newton Golf built on the proven performance of its core shaft products, guided by extensive work with Tour and amateur golfers. The focus was on strengthening how its shaft lineup performs as a matching dot system. This approach addresses the complexity golfers face when selecting shafts between driver, fairway woods, and hybrids, where differences in weight, feel, and performance can make consistency difficult to achieve. Newton Golf’s matching dot system provides uniformity for the golfer rather than forcing them to adapt the driver shafts for fairway woods and then matching those to a different hybrid shaft.

“Our work with Tour players and amateurs showed us that converting a driver shaft for a fairway wood use is not optimal and that selecting different shafts for driver, fairway woods and hybrids is confusing and difficult at every level,” said Aki Yorihiro, Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Newton Golf. “When shafts change weight, profile, or feel from driver to fairway to hybrid, it leads to inconsistency. The new Motion and Fast Motion shafts solve this challenge by optimizing the performance of each dot (flex) consistent across every category. To simplify fitting for golfers and fitters, all they have to do is “Match the Dots” across the lineup.”

New and updated products on display at booth #1561 at the 2026 PGA Show include:

Enhanced Fiber Interaction, Improved Material Behavior and Tighter Consistency from Shaft to Shaft

  • Newton Fast Motion Fairway Wood Shafts – One of the very few shafts on the market designed specifically for fairway woods and unique demands both off the tee and turf, the lighter Fast Motion Fairway Woods shafts extend Newton’s physics-based approach beyond the driver. Unlike competitors that recommend converting a driver shaft for fairway woods by giving tip trimming guides, Newton Golf designs fairway shafts from the ground up to account for smaller but heavier clubheads, turf interaction, different spin targets and the desire for higher ball flight while improving speed, accuracy and feel.

  • Newton Hybrid Shafts (Motion and Fast Motion) – Newton Golf will introduce dedicated hybrid shafts engineered to deliver consistent feel and response across driver, fairway, and hybrid. The design helps reduce swing adjustments between clubs and improves control in scoring situations.

  • Updated 2026 Newton Motion Driver and Fairway Shafts – The Company also will showcase refined 2026 versions of its Fast Motion™ Driver and Motion™ Driver and Fairway shafts, incorporating improved consistency, streamlined specifications across the lineup, and tighter manufacturing tolerances while preserving the feel and performance characteristics that established Fast Motion and Motion as a market-leading products.

Also on display at the show will be the current full Newton Gravity putter line.

On Tuesday, January 20, PGA Show attendees will have the opportunity to test Newton Golf’s latest shaft innovations during Demo Day at Orange County National Golf Center.

From Wednesday, January 21 through Friday, January 23, Newton Golf Company will showcase its products at Booth #1561 in the Orange County Convention Center. Company representatives will be available to discuss the technology, design philosophy, and performance characteristics of the new shaft lineup.

“The PGA Show is the right stage to show how far our shaft business has progressed,” said Greg Campbell, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Newton Golf Company. “We had a strong year in 2025, and the 2026 introductions build on that momentum by making performance easier to understand, easier to fit, and easier to trust across the bag.”
