The putters Fitzpatrick trusts on Tour, now available to golfers worldwide for the first time.

Tinley Park, Ill.,  — Bettinardi Golf announced the release of the BB1 Fitz Flow (BB1 FF) and the BB48 Fitz (BB48-F), two new putters based on the models Matt Fitzpatrick trusts on Tour, now making their way from the Tour truck to your bag for the first time.

Known for his meticulous approach to the game, Fitzpatrick has long prioritized face milling and roll characteristics in his putters. Earlier in his career, he relied on a specific groove profile that was no longer in production, leading him to search for a long-term solution that would meet his standards. Through a mutual connection, Sam Bettinardi reached out to Fitzpatrick’s camp to offer Bettinardi’s precision milling capabilities out of Tinley Park, Illinois. What followed was an extensive development process, with Bettinardi producing more than 30 prototypes until they achieved the exact look, feel, and face milling Fitzpatrick demanded.

The result is the Fitz Face, a semi-circular milling pattern engineered at the optimal tool size and depth to deliver his preferred feel and roll.

A 5-time PGA Tour winner and Major Champion, Fitzpatrick has also won the Valspar Championship, the RBC Heritage, and the Zurich Classic team event this season with his Bettinardi Tour putter in play. For the first time, golfers worldwide can access Fitzpatrick’s Tour-proven models and experience the setup behind one of the most dominant performances in the game.

Each model is one-piece milled from 303 Stainless Steel just outside Chicago, Ill. to 350 grams. Both incorporate Fitzpatrick’s preferred rolled topline and TourTone finish, a dual Black Armor and Diamond Blast combination paired with a thin sightline that provides contrast and a precise alignment reference at address.

The BB1 Fitz Flow (BB1 FF) is built on a classic blade profile with a thinner flange line and a flow neck, delivering moderate toe hang for players with a moderate arc in their stroke. The BB48 Fitz (BB48-F) applies those same standards to a symmetrical, face balanced mallet profile, featuring a spud neck with a double bend shaft that’s best suited to players with a straight-back, straight-through, or slight arc in their putting stroke.

“Fitzpatrick holds his equipment to an exceptionally high standard, and that’s exactly the standard we already work to every day in Tinley Park,” said Sam Bettinardi, President of Bettinardi Golf. “We’re proud that our craftsmanship is what he trusts on Tour, and now golfers everywhere get to experience putters built to reflect his standards.”

Both the BB1 Fitz Flow (BB1 FF) and the BB48 Fitz (BB48-F) will be available to order on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Bettinardi.com, Studio B™ Oak Brook, and select Authorized Retailers, with an MSRP of $550 each.

MOTOCADDY LAUNCH THREE NEW REMOTE MODELS https://ultragolfing.com/motocaddy-launch-three-new-remote-models/ https://ultragolfing.com/motocaddy-launch-three-new-remote-models/#respond Sat, 23 May 2026 06:28:35 +0000 https://ultragolfing.com/motocaddy-launch-three-new-remote-models/

Motocaddy has strengthened its position at the forefront of hands free golf technology with the launch of three new remote control electric trolleys for 2026.

The world leading electric trolley brand has unveiled the M7 GPS Remote, M7 Remote and ME Remote for golfers in the UK and Ireland, expanding its remote control offering at a time when demand for hands free performance continues to surge.

According to Motocaddy, remote models accounted for 46 per cent of its electric trolley sales last year, with remote sales rising by 44 per cent overall.

Marketing Director Oliver Churcher said the new line up offers game changing features across a range of price points.

“These new trolleys take our remote control range to the next level as we offer golfers a selection of game changing features at different price points,” he said. “The brand new M7 GPS Remote is the world’s most advanced electric golf trolley, with upgraded styling and a giant leap in GPS technology. Similarly, the new M7 Remote debuts a bigger screen with enhanced functionality, while the significantly upgraded ME Remote delivers our award winning remote technology at an entry level price point.”

Flagship M7 GPS Remote sets new benchmark

2026 M7 GPS REMOTE

At the top of the range sits the multi award winning M7 GPS Remote, which features fully integrated GPS through a responsive 3.5 inch touchscreen display and more than 40000 pre loaded courses.

The model includes high performance GPS technology with full hole mapping, dynamic green view, front middle and back distances, drag and drop target planning and hazard information. Golfers also receive smartphone alerts via Bluetooth, lifetime GPS mapping and super fast Wi Fi for over the air updates.

New for 2026 is the ability to personalise the GPS interface with shortcuts to preferred features. Users can choose between 2D and 3D mapping, including 3D hole flyovers and panning, along with portrait or landscape views and radial distance markers. Light or dark display modes, round and lost ball timers and a clock are also included.

The trolley has been developed using virtual reality, rapid prototyping and artificial intelligence technologies, and features the brand’s Click N Connect cable free Lithium battery system with automatic power off when folded. A retractable rear anti tip wheel can remain attached for folding.

The M7 GPS Remote will be available from March at an RRP of £1499.99.

Also refreshed for 2026 is the M7 Remote, which delivers a remote range of more than 100 metres and introduces a new 2.8 inch widescreen display.

The updated model includes drive, round and lifetime distance readings, a clock and round timer, plus a new Cartlock PIN code security feature. Golfers can switch between remote and handle control modes and benefit from pause, resume and emergency stop functions.

Like the flagship model, it features Downhill Control, which automatically regulates speed on slopes, and Adaptive Terrain Stability technology that monitors wheel speed and load to maintain straight line tracking and stability.

Dual rotating front wheels improve manoeuvrability, while the Easilock bag to trolley connection system removes the need for a lower bag strap when used with a Motocaddy bag.

The M7 Remote will also be available from March, priced at £1299.99.

ME Remote offers accessible entry point

It also includes Downhill Control, Adaptive Terrain Stability, a retractable rear anti tip wheel, a high power 28V system and twin rotating front tyres.

The ME Remote will be available from March at an RRP of £1099.99 and comes with a new 24 month trolley warranty.

Across all three models, Motocaddy continues to focus on hands free convenience, intelligent terrain control and integrated technology as remote control trolleys become an increasingly common sight on fairways across the UK and Ireland.

Mizuno Adds New Finishes to Key Models in Mizuno Pro and JPX Ranges https://ultragolfing.com/mizuno-adds-new-finishes-to-key-models-in-mizuno-pro-and-jpx-ranges/ https://ultragolfing.com/mizuno-adds-new-finishes-to-key-models-in-mizuno-pro-and-jpx-ranges/#respond Sat, 07 Mar 2026 18:40:28 +0000 https://ultragolfing.com/mizuno-adds-new-finishes-to-key-models-in-mizuno-pro-and-jpx-ranges/

Mizuno have announced the release of new finish options across two core models in its current lineup: the JPX 925 Hot Metal irons and Mizuno Pro T-3 wedges.

These latest additions reflect Mizuno’s ongoing focus on player preferences, craftsmanship, and tailored performance.

Each new finish maintains the underlying design philosophy and engineering integrity of the original model, while offering golfers refined aesthetic options to suit individual preferences and playing environments.

JPX 925 Hot Metal: Black Ion, Revolutionary Iron

The JPX 925 Hot Metal irons, recognised for their blend of distance, control and fitting versatility, are now available in a standout Black Ion finish.

Built around a Nickel Chromoly chassis with strategically placed tungsten weighting in the 4–7 irons, the Hot Metal design continues to provide a high-launch, high-speed platform with consistency across the face.

The addition of the Black Ion finish offers a fresh visual identity while maintaining the same trusted performance, reducing glare, and aligning the iron’s look with its modern, technology-led profile.

Mizuno Pro T-3: Stability Reimagined in Black

The Pro T-3 wedge, recognised for its blend of forgiveness and feel, returns in a commanding Black Ion finish.

Its shallow cavity back, combined with a longer head shape, offers increased stability on off-centre strikes, perfect for golfers seeking consistency without sacrificing finesse.

The forging process, groove structure (Quad Cut + Hydroflow Micro Grooves), and copper underlay remain unchanged, ensuring the T-3 continues to deliver reliable spin and control in all conditions.

Three grind options (S, M, and C) support various short game needs, and the darker finish offers a cleaner visual at setup, particularly in bright light or firm turf conditions.

T3 with Black Face

A third new colourway, the Mizuno Pro T-1 in Denim Copper, will be available exclusively in the US, while Europe will see the JPX 925 Hot Metal in Black Ion and the Mizuno Pro T-3 in Black Ion.

Scotty Cameron adds Santa Fe, Fastback 2 models to Studio Style lineup https://ultragolfing.com/scotty-cameron-adds-santa-fe-fastback-2-models-to-studio-style-lineup/ https://ultragolfing.com/scotty-cameron-adds-santa-fe-fastback-2-models-to-studio-style-lineup/#respond Fri, 06 Feb 2026 13:07:58 +0000 https://ultragolfing.com/scotty-cameron-adds-santa-fe-fastback-2-models-to-studio-style-lineup/

The Studio Style family grows with the return of the Santa Fe blade and new Fastback 2 options, adding toe-flow and long-design choices.

Gear: Scotty Cameron Studio Style Santa Fe, Fastback 2, Fastback 2 Long Design

Price: $499 (Santa Fe, Fastback 2), $549 (Fastback 2 Long Design)

Specs: Milled 303 stainless steel heads with Studio Carbon Steel face insert, chain-link face milling pattern, aluminum chassis, adjustable sole weights. Loft 3.5 degrees, lie 70 degrees.

Available: Feb. 12 (in stores)

Who it’s for: Golfers who like the look and feedback of classic Scotty Cameron shapes but want more precise toe-flow options, softer sound at impact and, in the case of the Long Design, added stability to quiet the hands.

What you should know: The Studio Style family, re-established in 2025, is expanding with three familiar-but-refined models. Santa Fe brings a high toe-flow blade back into the retail lineup, while Fastback 2 and Fastback 2 Long Design add a plumbing-neck option and a counterbalanced build to the mid-mallet side of the family.

The Deep Dive: When Scotty Cameron brought the Studio Style name back in 2025, it marked a subtle shift in how his retail putters approached feel. On Tour, where price is not a factor, Cameron often uses German Stainless Steel (GSS), but that material is too expensive to use in retail putters. However, carbon steel inserts, once also the domain of Tour-only builds and early-2000s experiments, could work. Cameron opted for the added a chain-link milling pattern designed to soften sound without muting feedback. The result was a new line that felt distinctly different from fully milled stainless steel Camerons, while still looking unmistakably classic.

For 2026, a line extension builds directly on that foundation, and the Studio Style Santa Fe will be the headliner for traditionalists. Long a cult favorite, the rounded Newport-style blade returns with a flow neck that promotes maximum toe flow and face awareness. Paired with the Studio Carbon Steel insert, the Studio Style Santa Fe blends an old-school silhouette with the softer acoustics that defined the original Studio Style relaunch.

On the mid-mallet side, the Studio Style Fastback 2 answers a different request. By pairing the compact Fastback head with a plumbing neck (in Scotty-speak, a 2 indicates a plumber’s neck), Cameron created a version with moderate toe flow that will feel more familiar to players coming from Newport-style blades. The black anodized aluminum heel-toe inlay isn’t cosmetic; it allows weight to be pushed outward, boosting stability while also creating a high-contrast alignment frame at address.

The Studio Style Fastback 2 Long Design takes that same head and stretches the concept further. Built at 38 inches with a heavier head, 25-gram tungsten sole weights, a stiffer shaft and a 17-inch non-tapered grip, it’s designed for golfers who want to smooth out their stroke and reduce excessive hand action. Long Design putters aren’t for everyone, but for players who like a counterbalanced feel, this version adds another legitimate option to the Studio Style lineup.

Collectively, the Santa Fe, Fastback 2 and Fastback 2 Long Design don’t reinvent the Studio Style family. And they weren’t meant too. Instead, they round it out, filling in toe-flow gaps and stroke-type preferences that naturally emerge once consumers and fitters start spending time with a family of putters. If the original 2025 release was about reintroducing feel, this extension is about helping golfers find their fit.
